Who we are and what we do ~
If you live in the Poudre Canyon then we may be your neighbor. We are
some of the residents of the Poudre Canyon that respond to Fire, Medical, MVA's, Smoke Reports and to our neighboring communities when
they need additional help. When 911 is called it's this team that
responds first and stays till the job is done. We are both women, men,
young and senior. We all have many skill sets and together we make up
the Poudre Canyon Fire Protection District.
We are all volunteers and some of us have full time jobs in town or in
the canyon. We respond seven days a week, 24 hours every day. NO matter!
Beside doing the normal responses, we also do much in the community for fire mitigation (slash pile burns) home and property inspections, urban interface meetings and wildfire protection plans and much more.
